Getting Ready for the Third Week of School

Dear Awbrey Park Families,

We are getting ready for the third week of our rollout.  Our students are building up their stamina.  This is the same whether they were in school at Awbrey or working online.  Building stamina for school is always a challenge.  If we had Kindergartners in school, most would be ready for a nap after lunch.  It can be trying for any student, Kinder through senior in high school.  We always suggest at home or in day care, have your child move during independent time.  If your child is really struggling, take a five minute break.  The more time your child can be with your teacher during our “live” times, the better.  This is a great opportunity for your child to get instruction, questions answered and build a sense of community with the other members of the class.  This week we will start PE/Music.  Your child will access this through the Clever login.  The PE/Music Schedule is below.

Music and PE will start Live this week.  This is where the class will have one Live PE and Music Lesson each week.  They will also have On-Demand classes they can do on the days they don’t have a Live class.  For example, Mrs. Anderson’s class would have Music on Monday at 12:55 and PE on Thursday at 12:55 on Thursday.  Students will access to Live PE/Music through their Clever login.
