Dear Awbrey Park Families,

Our school is full of spirit! We will have our barbecue Tailgater on November 23 in honor of the Oregon-Oregon State Football game later next week. Parents are invited to come and eat lunch with kids. We will set it up like a real tailgater with all of us eating outside. We will be under cover in case the weather isn’t wonderful—but it never rains at Autzen Stadium or Awbrey Park!  We suggest students dress up in Duck, Beaver, Awbrey Park or any other school’s colors.  It doesn’t matter if they don’t have a team shirt, they can just wear the team colors.

Sanipac is donating hot dogs and sending the Duck Truck. Every student will get to have a barbecue lunch for free.  Parents do not need to send money for any of our Awbrey kids.  Of course, the students can also bring their own lunch from home. Parents can buy a hot dog barbecue lunch for $2.00. Fortunately, Sanipac’s donation has reduced the price from the normal $4.00.  Students will eat and then play tailgating games. It will be awesome.
